By accessing or using GuardOpinion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Guidelines for Reviewers. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on GuardOpinion. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are using the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

4. Review Ownership & License

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting a review on GuardOpinion, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in related marketing materials, for as long as it remains published. We will never claim authorship of your words or sell your content to third parties.

5. Prohibited Conduct

GuardOpinion only works if everyone plays fair. The following are not permitted on the platform:

• Submitting fake or incentivized reviews
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
• Reviewing a company you own, work for, or have a financial interest in
• Scraping or harvesting platform data
• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose

6. Moderation & Removal

We moderate content to uphold the integrity of the platform. Reviews that violate our guidelines may be removed without prior notice. Where possible, we will inform you of removal decisions and provide an opportunity to appeal. Businesses cannot pay to remove, hide, or suppress reviews — our moderation decisions are independent of commercial relationships.

7. Limitation of Liability

GuardOpinion provides the platform on an 'as is' basis. We do not verify every claim made in a review, and we are not liable for the accuracy of user-submitted content. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. GUARDOPINION LTD is registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17170105) under the Companies Act 2006. The platform's economic activity is classified under SIC 63120 (Web portals).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
